En mis inicios en la comunidad K beuty recuerdo que era muy famoso el AHA and BHA Daily Clean Toner de Mizon ya que era un tónico ácido, es decir que tenía entre sus ingredientes alfa hidroxiácidos y betahidroxiácidos, luego con el tiempo otras marcas lanzaron sus propios tónicos ácidos; y es así como me encontré con el de Elizavecca y del cual les hablaré hoy.

In my beginnings in the K-Beauty community I remember that the AHA and BHA Daily Clean Toner from Mizon was really famous because was an acid toner, that means it has Alpha Hidroxy Acids and Beta Hidroxy Acids in its ingredients; then with the pass of the time more brands launched their own acid toners, and today I am going to tell you my experience with the Elizavecca's one.

HOW TO USE.
After washing your face, wet cotton ball with it and gently wipe skin, except around eyes and mouth.

El ácido láctico lo encontramos como segundo ingredientes el cual es mucho más
gentil y humectante que el ácido glicólico, pero éste último se
encuentra más abajo en la formulación, lo que me hace suponer que cuando la marca me dice que el tónico tiene 5% de
AHA es la combinación de ambos. Por el lado del BHA tenemos el ácido salicílico que al estar casi al final de la lista tiene una baja concentración. Hay varios ingredientes hidratantes y humectantes que se ven opacados por el alcohol y los ácidos cítricos que son irritantes y malos para la piel sensible.

Cuando compré éste tónico mi idea era usarlo en mi rutina nocturna y eso es lo que he hecho. Durante éste tiempo que tengo usándolo puedo decir que más que un tónico balanceante es un tónico exfoliante, ya que tiene un 5% de AHA, además tiene un pH entre 3 y 4, por lo que la mayor parte del tiempo no suelo combinarlo con otros ácidos.
La primera vez que lo usé sentí un leve picor en el rostro, pero no me dejo la cara roja. Por lo general lo uso solo y luego aplico un tónico hidratante para seguir con mi rutina nocturna. Al llegar la esencia de Centella Asiatica de Elizavecca, usaba primero este tónico, luego la esencia, un tónico hidratante y luego seguía con mis serums y crema humectante. En los días que tengo mi grano del mes que es enquistado aplico el AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid de COSRX en la zona afectada y continúo con mi rutina. He probado a usarlo previo a la aplicación de otros ácidos, con la vitamina C de TIA'M me fue bien, pero al usarlo con el BHA Blackhead Power Liquid de COSRX la cara se me ponía roja. Así que si tienen la piel muy sensible yo no recomendaría usarlo en combinación con otros ácidos.
Si he de compararlo con el AHA / BHA Claryfing Treatment Toner de COSRX debo decir que el de Elizavecca lo siento más fuerte que el primero, lo que se puede entender por las concentraciones de AHAs en su formulación.
En la infografía la marca nos dice que se puede usar en el dia antes de aplicar el maquillaje y como mist para fijar el maquillaje o para hidratar la piel a lo largo del día, y ésto es un rotundo NO, al menos para mí. A pesar de decir que tiene 4.3% de aceites, en ningún momento siento mi piel hidratada ni humectada, al contrario ésta se siente seca por el efecto de los ácidos, por lo que NO RECOMIENDO usarlo durante el día, ni como mist para hidratar la piel ni como fijador de maquillaje ya que tu piel lo padecerá. Les recuerdo que tiene alcohol y ácido cítrico por lo que pieles sensibles y con rosácea no lo usen.
No creo volver a comprarlo ya que actualmente prefiero más los tónicos hidratantes. Tampoco creo que sea un producto que se pueda tomar a la ligera tiene alcohol y el acido cítrico, que me hace imposible recomendarlo, pero si eres fan de los tónicos ácidos y tu piel tolera éstos componentes puede que funcione en tu rutina para potenciar el efecto de algún serum exfoliante.

Hola! Probé el tónico hace un tiempo y me fue bastante bien, hace una exfoliación suave, de a poco, aunque como dices no hidratada nada, a mi me gusto y su aroma también jeje, aunque supongo que en todas las pieles no funciona igual. Saludos :)
ResponderEliminarComo único exfoliante no me desagrada, es como mayormente lo uso, pero la forma en la que dice la marca que se puede usar como bruma para hidratar o como fijador de maquillaje, se me hace absurda porque no hidrata nada jaja.
