[INNISFREE] No-Sebum Blur Primer.

Tengo piel grasa con poros abiertos en mi nariz, vivo en un lugar que en los últimos dos años ha incrementado en calor y humedad, así que buscaba algo que me ayudara a mantener mi maquillaje intacto por más horas y que además cubriera mis poros.

Había leído maravillas del No-Sebum Mineral primer de Innisfre, pero como suele suceder con éstas marcas coreanas lo retiraron y lo reformularon, y ahora se llama Innisfree No-Sebum Blur Primer. Así que sigan leyéndo para saber si era lo que esperaba de una prebase o me decepciono.

I have combo skin with huge pores on my nose, although I live in a humid and hot place, thanks climate change :(; so I was looking for something to help me make long lasting my makeup and hide my large pores.

I've read positive reviews about No-Sebum Mineral primer from Innisfree, but like most of Korean brand they discontinued it and the last year they came out with an upgrade: No-Sebum Blur Primer, so let's go.

Una prebase que hace suaviza e ilumina la textura de la piel, como si fuera un efecto blur (haciéndo referencia a la herramienta blur del photoshop, que quiere decir difuminado) cubriendo las protuberancias (espinillas) de la piel causadas por poros y finas arrugas.

Yo compré éste primer especialmente para cubrir mis poros y que el maquillaje se viera "más pulido", pero no funcionó para mí. Además con la húmedad en el ambiente no evita que mi nariz tenga brillos al cabo de un par de horas por lo que no me ayudo en el control de sebo. En cuanto a si cubre los poros, diré que más o menos. En la zona de las mejillas mis poros son más pequeños y allí si que se nota que alisa la zona, pero no pasa lo mismo en la nariz donde mis poros siguen siendo visibles.

Se esparce muy bien y es suave al tacto como la gran mayoría de éstas prebases siliconadas, pero yo siento que no se adhiere bien en la piel. Lo que me lleva a mencionar la forma en la que aplico el maquillaje después del primer. He notado que al hacerlo con una brocha no queda tan bien, y eso que trato de no barrer la bb cream con la brocha si no que lo hago a toquecitos para difuminar (aunque me es imposible no arrastrar la brocha xD). Es por eso que siempre opto por usar una esponja de maquillaje para aplicar la bb cream porque de está forma tanto el primer y el maquillaje se asientan.

I bought this primer because I wanted something to help me to cover my pores and my makeup looked  more smoth, but it didn't work for me. Also with the humid and high temperatures it doesn't avoid that my nose shines like a disco ball two hours later to apply my BB cream, so in my case it wasn't good with the sebum control. About its work covering my pores I have to say: 50/50; in my nose where I have large pores I didn't notice that this primer cover them, but in my cheeks where I have small pores its performance is better.

It spreads easily and I feel really soft my skin after I apply it on my skin, like most of silicone primer, but I have the impression that it doesn't stick on my skin for that reason when I wear my BB cream I prefer to use a sponge because in this way the primer and BB adhere better. When I use a brush I have to be more careful and apply the BB cream with tapping motion, however the skin look smoother when I use a sponge.

Así que fracaso total con éste primer, no lo recomiendo para pieles muy grasas y con poros muy grandes. Y ustedes tienen algún primer que les haya gustado? Algún primer para cubrir poros que puedan recomendarme?

Hoy les traigo un haul que hice hace unos meses, si estoy atrasada con las entradas :(, a la web de iHerb. Fueron cuatro cosas, así que la entrada será corta.

Today I bring you a haul from iHerb, I did it some months ago but I want to share with you the few products I bought.

1.ECOTOOLS Four-Piece Beautiful Complexion Set.

Aproveché una de las ofertas que tenían en lo  productos de maquillaje y me salieron muy bien de precio. Algunas brochas ya las tenía en mi lista de deseos, y que las sacaran en un set me vino muy bien. Las lave y solo la que es para polvo solto un pelo, y de hecho es la que menos me ha entusiasmado del set, pensé que sería más densa.

I bought this set because most of the brush on it were in my wish list, so I took an offer in this product and was directly to the cart. I washed them and the only one which lost a bristle was the Powder brush, instead this brush isn't one of my favorite.

2. ACURE ORGANICS Firming Body Lotion, Lemongrass + Moroccan Argan Oil.

Para el verano quería usar una loción, algo que fuera menos denso que una crema. Huele a zacate-limón, me gusta mucho, la estoy alternando con las cremas de The Body Shop. No es ideal para pieles muy secas.

For the summer I want a light cream for my body. My option was this body lotion which smells like a lemongrass. I love this kind of fragance so I'm really happy with this stuff. If you have dry skin this is not your body lotion.

3. YOGI TEA Organic, Chai Rooibos, Caffeine Free.

Mi primer té de la marca Yogi, y fue todo un acierto, lo amo!!. Tiene ese sabor especiado que tanto me gusta sin ser picante.

My first but not my last tea from the Yogi brand. I love the spicy flavor of this tea, it isn't strong. Most of the time I drink it with out sweetener.

4. KISS MY FACE Natural Liquid Rock Deodorant, Sport.

Repito con éste desodorante en roll on, me ha gustado mucho y es el único que aguanta toda la jornada con éste calor infernal, tiene un ligero aroma herbal. Han cambiado el empaque y también siento cierta diferencia en su consistencia, pero sigue siendo mi campeón para éste calor.

I repurchase this liquid deodorant, it is MY FAVORITE because is the only which keep away my strong odor. I notice that the company changed the package but the formula is the same.

5. HURRAW! Balm, Lip Balm, Chai Spice.

Tengo la versión de granada y quedé muy complacida con la textura, no es pegagosa y para el día me gusta mucho.

My first lip balm of this brand was the pomegrante version and I was really happy with it. Not sticky and it's my favorite during the day. I decided to try another version, in this case Chai Spice.

[SKIN WATCHERS] Galatomyces Whitening Essence.

Hoy les traigo la reseña de la Whitening Essence, que es el segundo producto que tengo de la línea de Galactomyces de la marca coreana Skin Watchers.

Today's review is about Whitening Essence, which is the second product I have from the Galactomyces line of the Korean brand Skin Watchers.

Éste producto venía en una caja de cartón muy sobria, dentro encontramos un frasco de cristal con gotero. La esencia es líquida y no deja sensación pegagosa, se absorve rápido. No tiene ningún aroma perceptible y son 30 ml. de producto.

Al igual que la crema en Skin Watchers se puede encontrar una nueva versión llamada Galactomyces Wrinkle and Whitening Essence, por lo que he logrado traducir de la información la nueva versión tiene un 86% de ingredientes fermentados, lo que no me ha quedado claro es si ese 86% es de galactomyces O.o?.

This product came in a cardboard box very simple, inside we can find a glass bottle with a eyedropper. The essence is a watery liquid without scent. It doesn't feel sticky and absorbs very well on the skin.

As the moisturizer we can find a new upgrade: Galactomyces Wrinkle and Whitening Essence. It supossed that version has 86% of ferment ingredients, but I'm not sure if that 86% is galactomyces ferment.

En su formulación no encuentro nada destacable, a diferencia de la crema que tiene más extractos naturales y era más emoliente, pero se entiende que la esencia sea más ligera que una hidratante. Tiene niacinamida y el fermento de galactomyces que realizan la función "blanqueante" al ser despigmentantes. También contiene Extracto de Aronia (Aronia Melanocarpa Fruit Extract) que es un antioxidante y Extracto de Verdolaga (Portulaca Oleracea Extract) que tiene propiedades antiinflamatorias. Sobre el Ethyl Hexanediol que es el único ingrediente en amarillo en la ficha de cosDNA encontré que es un tipo de alcohol que se usa como disolvente y que es absorvido por la piel y eliminado por la orina, por lo que en una concentración no mayor al 5% es segura de usar en productos cosméticos.[1][2]

In the ingredients I find nothing remarkable, unlike the moisturizer which has more natural extracts and is more emolient  but it supossed that an essence is lighter than a cream. It has niacinamide and galactomyces ferment that make a despigmentante function. Also it contains Aronia Extract (Aronia Melanocarpa Fruit Extract) which is an anti oxidant and Purslane Extract (Portulaca Oleracea Extract) that has anti-inflammatory propierties. Concerning Ethyl Hexanediol, the only yellow ingredient on cosDNA file, I found that it's a type of alcohol used like solvent, which is absorbed through the skin and is eliminated in the urine, so in concentration no greater than 5% is safe to use it in cosmetics products.[1][2]

Les cuento que ésta esencia llegó a mi vida por error, yo había comprado la Pore Control Essence de la misma marca, pero los de Jolse se equivocaron y me enviarón ésta, por lo que no me hacía mucha gracia el producto, pero tenía que usarlo.

Es una esencia agradable de usar, pero con el que no he notado nada especial en mi piel, pasa lo mismo que con la crema, sólo tiene 10% de fermento de galactomyces, así que no hay una gran cambio. Lo he estado usando por las noches junto a la crema, lo que haría entre los dos 20% de fermento, pero ni con esa cantidad hacen algo espectacular.

Así que el efecto "blanqueante" no lo esperen con ésta esencia, no la recomendaría si es eso lo que buscan. Con la crema si que repitiría, pero con la esencia no. No me parece un producto indispensable en mi rutina.

Y sí, es todo lo que tengo que decir sobre dicho producto jaja.

Well, I have tell you that this essence came to my life for accident, I had bought the Pore Control Essence from the same brand, but Jolse sent me this one, so I wasn't happy to use it, but I had to do it.

It's a nice essence, I've been using it with the moisturizer of the same line on my PM routine but I haven't noticed anything special on my skin; as the cream this essence only have 10% of galactomyces ferment, so between the cream and the essence we have 20% galactomyces ferment, but with this amount you don't expect something grandiose on your skin because it wouldn't happen.

Whitening effect? No, Whit this prodcut you wouldn't get it, so I don't recommend it. For my skin type this essence isn't essencial, so I wouldn't repurchase it.

And that's all, this product has not impressived me haha.
